Why don’t you join us this week as we adventure though all kinds of interesting materials. You can think some up, we can think some up, and we’ll all have a really good time! Ceramic sculptures, paper mache lanterns, glittered everythings, garden and fairy houses, painted rocks, found object collage, the list goes on and on! Ages 6-12 1:00-4:00 August 25-29 Cost: $180.00 Fashion Passion Design your own line of fashion! Wear what you want! Show off who you are with your own original styles. Through alternative designing techniques, and the alteration and reconstruction of pre-designed clothing young designers will have fun trying out, and trying on, their one of a kind pieces. We’ll shop local thrift stores for favorite colors and textiles, explore eclectic fashion mediums like foil and duct tape, create a name brand, and model our new line on the runway at our Moonpaper Tent Fashion Show! Ages 9-14 9:00-3:00 July 14-18 Cost: $295.00 NEW 2 MuralisticThe Moonpaper Tent needs YOU! This summer we are gathering friends to paint a giant mural in the alley. Kids of all ages can go down in Moonpaper history designing and painting a one of a kind masterpiece to be enjoyed by passersby for years to come! Its pure muralistic action! Come one, Come all, Come Paint the Wall! Ages 6 and up 9:00-12:00 July 21-25 Cost: $180.00 MTV (Moonpaper T V) Video Camp From Opera to Rock- n -Roll, Hip Hop to Country kids will create a music persona, don their diva wear and help produce their own MTV video! Dress up, make-up, lip sync or karaoke- its time to show off your million dollar moves! Set and prop construction mix with total music scene fun! Don’t forget the autographs and photo shoots! Even a visit from a real Seattle rock band! Take a walk down the red carpet and smile for the paparazzi its all about you! Ages 6 -12 1:00-4:00 July 21-25 Cost: $180.00 NEW 2 Pet StoreCalling all animal lovers! This is your camp! Be a pet, make a pet and visit with “guest pets” for a one of a kind week Moonpaper style! What kind of an animal would you like to have as a pet? We will explore different craft mediums creating our very own puppet pets, mini pet sculptures, and mini pet homes, all while costumed as our favorite pet characters! (If we want to.) Real live visiting pets will add the finishing touch! Bark! Bark! Meow! Roaaarrrr! Ages 6-10 1:00-4:00 August 4-8 Cost: $180.00 Fairy Camp Step through the hidden doorway and into the enchantment of Fairyland, where anything is possible and magical fairy secrets await. What kind of fairy are you? Where do you come from? Together younger and older children will bond creating their own fairy world adventure, solving detailed fairy mysteries, creating fairy necessities, and keeping all we learn in our magic fairy journal. Dress up, drama, unique arts and crafts, storytelling, and fairy magic everywhere! Ages 6-12 9:00-3:00 Aug 11-15 Cost: $295.00 FULL July 28-Aug 1 Dream Worlds-Shadow Boxes and Dioramas Dream up your perfect world. Put it in a box. Put it in a glass jar. Maybe you would like to live in a candy world? A fairy forest? A robotic pirates island? If you can think it up, then we can put it together. Explore the wonderful world of diorama creations utilizing several interesting techniques. Voila! Your very own dream world! Simply go there by peeking in whenever you want to escape! Ages 6-12 1:00-4:00 August 11-15 Cost:$180.00 Mystics and Mind Readers Trouble is brewing in the Land of the Great Mystics. A special invitation goes out to all fellow fortune-tellers, wizards, magicians, dark fairies and magic makers…meet at the tower, before it is too late! Older children explore the fantasy world, choosing characters, creating potions, spell books, their own deck of magical trading cards, and many other unique and mysterious tools. Guest characters play an integral role in this mystical on going drama. Ages 7-11 9:00-3:00 August 11-15 Cost: $295.00 Our Show Together as a group we will write and produce our very own theatrical production. Be it skit, talent show, or play this show is yours! Each child will create a character, collaborate scripted words with movement, create the set and costumes, and rehearse, rehearse, rehearse! The challenge of taking each wonderful idea and including it somewhere in the show will be softened by the simplicity of allowing for free imagination. Children will see how every character and message fits into the scheme, as well as enjoying the hidden aspects of a production such as set creation and costume work. The end result will astound us all, as our hard work and creativity explode in ..our show! Deposit will go toward tuition and camps can be partially refunded if we have 2 weeks prior notification of cancellation. A 10% discount will be given to all siblings enrolling in the same session, or to kids enrolled in more than one camp.
